Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position
Location: Washington, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12)
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Hours: As needed
Call Requirements: None
Job Description
- Operate therapeutic gas administration devices and mechanical ventilators.
- Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Maintain patient charts with identification and therapy information.
- Float to other units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Experience in emergency care
- Experience with pulmonary rehabilitation
Work Environment
- Acute care hospital with comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric services.
- Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke and STEMI Center.
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
- Dress code: Black scrubs required.
Additional Information
- Patient population includes trauma, intensive care, and emergency cases.
- The facility is recognized for high-quality care and safety standards.
- No prior travel experience required.
