CVOR Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician
- Employment Type: Travel
- Department: CVOR
- Shift: Varies
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Call: Every other week, including weekends
- Float: May be required to work in the main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Tech
- Experience with open heart procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, aortic/mitral valve surgeries, and lung procedures
Work Environment & Unit Information
- Facility is Joint Commission Accredited
- Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Certified Primary Stroke Center
- 199-bed hospital
- Located in a region with year-round sunshine and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities
