Description
Ultrasound Tech - Echocardiology
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- Joint Commission Accredited
- Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Certified Primary Stroke Center
- 199 beds total, including a 22-bed ER and 32-bed Critical Care Unit
- Equipment includes GE ultrasound machines
- Documentation systems: Meditech, Change Healthcare PACS
- No floating policy
- Dress code: Scrubs (any color)
Job Description
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, bubble studies, and difinity imaging
- Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), structural heart procedures, TAVR, and TEE during Watchman procedures
- Cover inpatient, outpatient, and catheterization procedure exams
- Work independently as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARDMS certification
- RDCS certification
- BLS certification
- Experience as an Echo Technologist
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
