Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel)

Unit Information
- Emergency Department at a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED)
- 52 beds
- Staff per shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod
- Patient ratios: Average 3:1; low acuity 5:1; Pediatrics use team nursing
- Equipment: Alaris infusion pumps
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Shift times typically 7 PM to 7 AM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Acute Care experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training
- Experience in traveling or working at large healthcare facilities
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Experience working in facilities larger than 52 beds
