Surgical Tech - OR
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Neuro / Spine Surgical Technology
- Shift: Day shift, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, includes late shifts and on-call duties
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Call Requirements: Evenly distributed by coordinator; weekend hours on call
- Unit: Main Operating Room (OR)
- Number of Openings: 1
- Patient Type: Surgical patients, primarily neuro/spine cases
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: Operating Room equipment
- EMR System: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Work Environment & Dress Code
- Unit Size: 24 beds
- Scrub Color: Ceil blue or royal blue
- Unacceptable Attire: Fleece, hoods, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and nail polish are not allowed
