Technologist - Interventional Radiology (IR) (Days)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
  • Experience with thrombolytics required
  • Active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification required
  • Iowa Radiology license highly preferred (candidates without active license may be considered; issuance timeline varies)
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
  • Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab discipline required
  • Professional reference or performance evaluation from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL in a hospital or medical center setting
  • Proficiency in Endovascular procedures

Additional Information

  • Orientation dates available on 7/6 and 7/13
  • Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
  • Workweek typically 36-40 hours; overtime billable after 40 hours
  • Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
  • Clinical interview pre-screening conducted via phone call/text from a 405 area code
  • Employee separation policy restricts past employees of the employer’s float pool from working travel assignments in other markets within 12 months

Overtime and On-Call

  • Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply (details available upon request)
  • Call back and on-call pay available
