Unit Information
- ER Beds: 24
- Trauma Bays: 3
- Patients per Day: 80-90
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Fast Track: Yes
- Separate Triage Area: Yes (travelers occasionally perform triage)
- ER Holds: No separate holding area; holds are intermixed and managed by ER RNs
- Psych/Seclusion Rooms: None
- In-house Security: Yes
- X-Ray/CT: Located next to ER
- Phlebotomy: Performed by tech or RN
- Respiratory Therapy: RT completes vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, ABGs, breathing treatments, and EGS
- Telemetry: No monitor techs; RNs must interpret ECG rhythms

Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing
Orientation & Dress Code
- Unit-specific orientation provided (7 AM - 7 PM, every other week)
- Dress Code: Navy scrub color

- Candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN within the past year at any facility associated with certain large healthcare systems (not named here).
