MRI Tech - Radiology
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Location: Radiology Department, 1st Floor
- Number of Staff: 5 Technologists
- Day Shift: 2 Technologists
- Evening Shift: 2 Technologists
- Night Shift: Call
- Equipment: GE 450W 1.5T MRI
- EMR Systems: Meditech, Centricity PACS
Typical Procedures
- Brain, Spine, Orthopedic
- Body, Abdomen, Cardiac (preferred skill)
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Virginia State MRI License (must have at submission)
Requirements/Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification (MR Registered)
- BLS Certification
Work Schedule & On-Call
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend call rotation: approximately 1 weekend per month
- Night call: 2 weeknights per week (typically 11 PM to 6 AM)
Dress Code
- Navy scrubs
