Registered Nurse - Rapid Response
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Hours per Week: 48 hours
Unit Information
- Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Number of Beds: 26
- Number of Staff: 65
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 2:1 (not guaranteed)
- Equipment: Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech / CPNTypical
Job Description
- Rapid response role requiring acute care ICU skills
- No return to office (RTO) or special scheduling required
- Caps needed after acceptance
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience within the last year
- Rapid Response experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Meditech EMR experience
- Experience traveling to large trauma facilities
- Skills in Sono IV and CRRT
