Description
Registered Nurse (Med/Surg)
Location: Jamestown, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Unit: Medical-Surgical (16 beds)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg unit with telemetry patients.
- Perform dressing changes, manage ventilators, start IVs, and monitor telemetry.
- Use electronic systems including EPIC, Space Labs, and Omnicell for charting and medication management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Dakota.
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year).
- BLS Certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Orientation & Training
- One week (8 hours non-billable) orientation focused on unit-specific training.
- Orientation includes 12-hour night shifts.
Schedule & Work Environment
- 12-hour night shifts.
- Typically work every 3rd weekend.
- Dress code: Scrubs.
- No floating to other units.
Additional Notes
- Local candidates are accepted.
- Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
