Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Florida
Job Summary
- Accountable for coordination of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
- Plans, implements, evaluates, and communicates all phases of nursing care for assigned patients.
- Provides leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
- Delegates patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and resources.
- Participates in committees or projects as needed.

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- On-call required
Specialty Focus
- Experience in Urology and Gynecology nursing
- General Surgery nursing also relevant
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Experience in Urology and Gynecology nursing, including OB/GYN experience
- Experience in General Surgery nursing
- Demonstrated leadership experience
