Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

Location

  • Portland, Maine

Position Type

  • Travel assignment
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Shifts available: Days (7a-7p), Evenings (11a-11p), Nights (7p-7a)
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • Weekend requirement: 1 weekend in 4, 12-hour shifts
  • Call requirement: One overnight trauma call (11p-7a); specialty team call schedules apply if assigned to specialty teams (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)

Unit Information

  • Level One Trauma Center
  • Operating Room with 40 beds and multiple specialties
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Equipment used: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Epic

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Experience working with Level One Trauma patients
  • Recent CST experience within the last year
