RN Labor and Delivery - Florence, South Carolina
Job Type
- Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assess patient needs using history, observation, physical exam, and diagnostic data.
- Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice.
- Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors.
- Use appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
- Follow Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators and standard work.
- Precept and mentor novice employees.
- Participate in hospital initiatives promoting Evidence Based Practices.
- Engage in professional growth through goal setting and educational opportunities.
- Float to assist other similar units as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Labor and Delivery experience of at least 2 years, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
