RN Labor and Delivery - Florence, South Carolina

Job Type

  • Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
  • Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

  • Assess patient needs using history, observation, physical exam, and diagnostic data.
  • Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice.
  • Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors.
  • Use appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
  • Follow Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators and standard work.
  • Precept and mentor novice employees.
  • Participate in hospital initiatives promoting Evidence Based Practices.
  • Engage in professional growth through goal setting and educational opportunities.
  • Float to assist other similar units as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Labor and Delivery experience of at least 2 years, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
