Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) (Days)
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Provide immediate assessment and support to patients admitted to the emergency room.
- Identify medical issues, determine severity, and intervene to minimize long-term negative effects or sustain life.
- Act as one of the first responders in emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
- Current Oklahoma RN license or compact license.
- BLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale certification, ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications required.
- TNCC certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent travel nursing experience preferred.
Additional Information
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
- On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of one hour.
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
- Candidates must provide:
- Work history and skills checklist current within 1 year relevant to ER nursing.
- Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years.
- Permanent address information.
- Non-compete: Former direct employees are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
