Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice - Nightshift

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in Hospice inpatient unit and homecare settings.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, nightshift.

  • 1 night per week: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (inpatient unit)
  • 2 nights per week: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM (hospice homecare)
• Every 3rd weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Use of EPIC EMR system required; remote EPIC training will be provided for hospice care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of hospice nursing experience, with hospice experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the contract confirmation to be honored.
• Contract start and end dates, as well as RTO, must match exactly between agency and facility requirements.

Specialty Experience

• Hospice nursing experience required (no specific years stated, but experience is mandatory).

Shift Details

• Nightshift with a mix of inpatient and homecare hours as described above.
