Description

Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT - Pediatrics

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week (26-week contracts with guaranteed 48 hours/week)
Employment Type: Clinical Specialist/Professional


Job Description

  • Provide respiratory therapy services under general supervision for all appropriate pediatric age levels and areas served by the department.
  • Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
  • Record treatment information and patient responses in electronic medical records.
  • Serve as a resource to medical staff.
  • Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring.
  • Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients.
  • Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned, maintained, and properly documented.
  • Participate as a member of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Oklahoma
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner with experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
