Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Patient types include Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa (Compact license allowed).
- Certifications required at start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred; must obtain if contract is extended.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Orientation
- Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year (multiple two-day sessions available).
Additional Information
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply (details not included here).
- Call back and on-call pay available (details not included here).
