Registered Nurse (CVICU) - Travel Position
Location: Somerset, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Facility Overview
- 295-bed acute care hospital serving an 11-county area in south central Kentucky
- State-of-the-art cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
- Employs over 1,200 healthcare professionals and support staff
- Medical staff includes more than 170 physicians across 38 specialties
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (CVICU)
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away to qualify as Travel
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, with at least some experience within the last year
- Certifications required prior to start:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
