Description
Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Med-Surg (Night Shift)
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily on the Respiratory unit caring for patients, including those with COVID-19.
- Occasional floating to various Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
- Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend required.
- No call requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Stepdown nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
Additional Information
- Facility may reduce up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; these hours are not limited to 12-hour shifts.
- Start date is fixed (July 20th) unless the RN is a returning traveler within the last 9 months.
- All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the contract confirmation to be honored.
- Compliance with contract terms (start/end dates, requested time off) is strictly enforced.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week, night shift (7 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- No call required
