Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location

Work Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend hours: 36 out of 48 hours
- On-call requirement: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift
Job Description
- Work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a tertiary, teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma designation
- Float responsibilities include coverage in NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, adult acute, and critical care units
- Patient ratios: acute care 1:25, critical care 1:8
- Equipment used includes Drager V500 and VN500 ventilators, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
- Team size: 14-16 RRTs covering the entire facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
- Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
