Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Care for general medical/surgical patients, including post-operative patients requiring overnight stays.
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required.
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
Work Schedule & Hours
- 36-40 hours per week, with billable overtime after 40 hours.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed (prior travel experience required).
- BLS certification required.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
- Driver’s license required.
- Must not have been employed by this health system within the last 12 months.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification and copy of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Work history/resume required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.

- Orientation schedule provided.
