Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona

Job Description

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab with a focus on Interventional Cardiology.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including:

  • Vascular embolization
  • Ports placement
  • Vascular stenting
  • Nephrostomy tube procedures
• Occasional Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures and float to IR as needed.
• Coverage includes Cath Lab, Stress Testing, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Tilt Table testing.
• Patient population primarily adults.
• Use of equipment such as GE systems and Cerner EHR.
• Common diagnoses treated include Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
• Team-oriented work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with vascular embolization, ports placement, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube procedures.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).

Additional Information

• Facility has 90 beds.
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly.
• Scrub color and dress code are hospital provided.
• Weekend hours are on call.
• Equipment and technology used include GE imaging and Cerner electronic health records.

Note: Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.
