Radiology Technologist - Cleveland, Ohio

Job Details

  • Work Environment: Trauma Level 1 adult and pediatrics, NICU, PICU, Surgery, Portables, Emergency Room, Inpatient, Pediatrics

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technician license in Ohio
  • ARRT certification/license for Radiology Technologist
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Preferred but not required; medical or religious exemptions accepted.
  • MMR: Positive titers within last 15 years required. If low titer, 1 booster required to start and 2nd booster 30 days later, with follow-up titer 6 weeks after 2nd booster.
  • Varicella: Positive titers within last 15 years required. Booster protocol same as MMR if low titer.
  • Tdap: Vaccination within last 10 years required; no declinations accepted.
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of full series or at least two vaccines completed, or signed declination form accepted (no childhood vaccines). Positive titers within 15 years also accepted.
  • Tuberculosis: 2-step PPD or IGRA (QuantiFERON/TSPOT) with negative results within last 6 months required annually. If positive, clear chest X-ray (valid 5 years) and current TB questionnaire required.
  • Fit Test: Completed within 1 year prior to start and updated annually; specific approved respirators listed.
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (October–March). If declined, mask-wearing and specific forms required.

Background and Compliance

  • Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 6 months prior to start, including Social Security trace, county searches for last 7 years, national criminal sweep, and sex offender registry. International background check required if not U.S. resident for past 5 years.
  • Fingerprints: Ohio residents 5+ years require Ohio BCI&I and national database criminal background check. Residents less than 5 years require Ohio BCI&I and FBI fingerprint check. Attestation allowed if fingerprints pending, with documentation.
  • Employment Verification: Verification of employment within last 5 years through third-party required; attestations not allowed.
  • Education Verification: Highest level of education verified through third-party; international education requires equivalency documentation.
  • I-9 Attestation: Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
  • OIG and Federal Exclusion Checks: Must be completed within 6 months prior to start; only required upon initial hire.
  • SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC Screening: Must be completed within 6 months prior to start; only required upon initial hire.

Documentation and Testing

  • Submission Packet: Resume (education and work history), 2 professional references (within last 2 years), completed job application, and employment history form required at submission.
  • Photo ID: Non-expired photo ID required at submission.
  • Badge Photo: Headshot with plain background required prior to onboarding.
  • Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start required; instant drug screens not accepted. New screen required if break in assignment exceeds 60 days.
  • Module Completion: Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance; renewal annually.

This position requires a highly qualified Radiology Technologist with current licensure, immunizations, and compliance with extensive background and health screenings. The role involves working in a high-acuity trauma environment with adult and pediatric patients across multiple departments.
