Description

Registered Nurse - Dialysis (Travel Contract)

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Schedule Details:

  • Weekend rotation
  • Call required approximately 1 PM shift per week and 1 Sunday every 6 weeks
    Hours per Week: 36

Unit Overview

  • Dialysis unit with multiroom and bedside setups (6-bed multiroom at some locations, 1:1 bedside at others)
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1 in multiroom, 1:1 bedside
  • Equipment used: Tablo, Prismax, Amia
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
  • Permanent positions available on the unit

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Dialysis (1 year of experience)
  • Dialysis experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidates with additional dialysis-related skills will be prioritized

Work Environment & Culture

  • Flexible personality fit preferred
  • Dress code: Navy scrubs required
  • Rotating night shift staffing with 3 nurses per night shift
  • Call responsibilities as noted above
