Description
Dialysis Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide intermittent hemodialysis (IHD) services in a dialysis unit and at the bedside of ICU patients who require hemodialysis but cannot be transported.
- Connect and disconnect patients from peritoneal dialysis treatments.
- CRRT therapy is not provided (managed by ICU nurses).
- Primarily use Fresenius dialysis machines; full orientation provided.
- On-call rotation and every other weekend required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Minimum 1.5 years of dialysis experience, with dialysis experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
