MRI Technologist - Arizona
Job Description
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cross-sectional images for radiologist review.
- Assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs and principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
- Manage patient flow and make decisions to maximize operational efficiency.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Provide excellent customer service with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Utilize technical competence with general radiographic equipment and procedures.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and completion of MRI-related courses preferred.
Location & Schedule
- Location: Phoenix, Arizona
- Worksite includes both outpatient and inpatient settings at the main hospital campus.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/10s), including weekends.
- Weekend hours: Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Weekday hours (starting 2/23 for approximately 6 months): Monday and Tuesday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience within the last year.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification valid at start of employment and maintained thereafter.
- Experience as a Radiology Technician or in Nuclear Medicine.
