Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Provide immediate assessment and support to patients admitted to the emergency room.
- Identify medical issues, determine severity, and intervene to minimize long-term negative effects or sustain life.
- Serve as one of the first responders in emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
Additional Information
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
- On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of 1 hour.
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted compensation.
- Former direct employees of the facility are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
