Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Columbus, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- On-call rotations:
- Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM every 3rd weekend
- Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM every third week
- Unit equipment:
- PET scanner (GE)
- EMR system: EPIC
- RIS/PACS: Change (McKesson)
- Unit setup: 1 PET scanner and 2 injection rooms
- Dress code: Any color scrubs
- Work environment: Collaborate with another Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Procedures: Nuclear Medicine oncology and cardiology exams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Certifications:
- ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB
- Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) verification
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Licensure: Indiana state license required (ISDH)
