Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Unit: Angiography / Interventional Radiology (IR) Labs
- Beds: 3 Angiography Labs (2 Dedicated IR Labs, 1 Hybrid OR)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Staffing: Teams of 3-4 (2 Techs, 2 RNs ideal), includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, RCIS
- Equipment: IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream
- Documentation System: EPIC Cupid
- Scheduling: 4 shifts of 10 hours each with on-call requirements
- Floating Policy: Not applicable
- Patient Population: High acuity, including ICU and ER patients
- Procedures Performed: Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, Trauma
- Certifications Required: ACLS & BLS
- Dress Code: Royal blue and black for RNs; Navy blue and black for Techs

Required Qualifications
- Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience in critical care, including gtt management
- Experience in Angio/IR, including stroke and trauma care
- ICU and ER experience required
Additional Information
- 36 hours per week
- Savannah is a coastal city with a rich historic district and cultural attractions
