Description
Ultrasound Sonographer
Location: Mankato, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Clinical Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Produce high-quality ultrasound images for physician interpretation, meeting established radiology standards. Must demonstrate competence with various imaging equipment and technology.
Work Schedule
- Primarily 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, nights Monday-Thursday (8:00 pm – 6:30 am)
- Transition to overnight weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) during the last several weeks of the contract
- Initial training shift from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Follow safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients
- Communicate effectively and foster teamwork
- Provide high-level patient service through proper communication, technique, and safety
- Maintain flexibility to staff various locations, shifts, and shift lengths
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure optimal patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year
- ARDMS certification
- BLS certification
- Experience as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer
- Experience as a Vascular Sonographer
