Description

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (12-hour day shifts)


Unit Information

  • Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 procedure rooms
  • Staffed by approximately 25 team members
  • Cath lab hours: 7:00 AM to 7:35 PM
  • No on-call requirement for EP staff
  • Electronic Medical Records systems used: Merge and MACLAB
  • Typical team size: 3–4 staff per shift

Typical Procedures

  • Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PFA)
  • Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) ablations
  • Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) ablations

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an EP lab environment
  • Familiarity with MACLAB and cardiology lab procedures

Work Environment & Culture

  • 12-hour day shifts with a collaborative team atmosphere
  • Outgoing personality and willingness to work are highly valued
  • Unit policies and guidelines will be provided at the start of the assignment

  • The unit is competitive in attracting talent; new equipment, experienced staff, and schedule options may be highlighted during onboarding.
