Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (12-hour day shifts)
Unit Information
- Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 procedure rooms
- Staffed by approximately 25 team members
- Cath lab hours: 7:00 AM to 7:35 PM
- No on-call requirement for EP staff
- Electronic Medical Records systems used: Merge and MACLAB
- Typical team size: 3–4 staff per shift
Typical Procedures
- Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PFA)
- Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) ablations
- Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) ablations
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Electrophysiology Lab experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an EP lab environment
- Familiarity with MACLAB and cardiology lab procedures
Work Environment & Culture
- 12-hour day shifts with a collaborative team atmosphere
- Outgoing personality and willingness to work are highly valued
- Unit policies and guidelines will be provided at the start of the assignment
