Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) - Contract in Hawaii

Job Description

• Operate various radiographic equipment independently, including:

  • DR fixed equipment
  • DR fluoroscopy equipment
  • C-arms (Philips and OEC)
  • Portable DR equipment
• Must be assigned and wear a dosimetry badge for radiation safety.
• Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and EPIC EMR preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols required.
• Shifts are varied days with an average of 3 days of call per month.
• No guarantee of hours or time off.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Hawaii
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
• Ability to function independently without supervision

Additional Information

• Traveler must arrive on the island the Thursday before the Monday start date to complete employee health and HR clearance appointments.
• Do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time for these appointments.
