Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby (Nights)

Location: Towson, Maryland

Job Description

• Participate in clinical monitoring at the unit level.
• Engage in patient, family, staff, and/or student education programs.
• Develop, document, and implement Patient Teaching and Discharge Planning Records.
• Identify unit, staff, and patient care problems; take action or refer as appropriate.
• May perform charge RN duties and monitor productivity/patient flow if competent.
• May precept new staff if competent.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Comfortable managing a 1:8 patient ratio

Additional Information

• Candidates may request time off equivalent to one week of contracted hours during the assignment.
• Overtime starts after 48 hours worked; includes 1.5x pay for OT, call back, and holidays.
• Orientations are scheduled up to 6 weeks in advance and occur every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
