Registered Nurse - Cardiac Rehab

Location: Marion, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in the Stress Lab and Cardiac Rehab unit.
• Stress Lab located on the first floor; Cardiac Rehab is across the street.
• Patient ratios: 1:4 in rehab, one-on-one with stress patients.
• Equipment includes Case System for stress testing, Nusteps, and treadmills for rehab patients.
• Documentation system: Cerner/Scottcare.
• Schedule:

  • Stress testing: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Cardiac rehab: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM (after stress testing)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with stress testing of all kinds, including Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress, and nuclear stress testing.
• Advanced knowledge of EKG interpretation related to stress testing.

Unit Details

• Scrub color: Navy (required uniform).
• Unit staffing includes secretaries and tech availability.
• Floating policy applies (details not specified).
