Description
ICU RN - Nights
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Summary
- Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in ICU and assigned areas.
- Assess patients upon admission, including medical history, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and diagnostic tests.
- Participate in planning and implementing written care plans under physician direction.
- May float to Progressive Care (3N) unit if needed.
- Holiday and every other weekend availability required.
- Navy blue scrubs required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Balloon Pump experience
Additional Information
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
