Radiologic Technologist (X Ray-Tech) - Morgantown, West Virginia

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Nights (12 hours per shift, approximately 36 hours per week)
• Weekend and possible holiday work required
• No call or standby requirement

Job Duties & Department Information

• Perform X-Ray, OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy imaging
• Average of 400 scans/studies per day
• Use of Toshiba Radiology rooms, Carestream portable units, and OEC C-arms
• Work with Epic and Fuji Synapse EMR/PACS systems
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Radiologist and residents available in-house 24/7
• Scrubs provided; department-specific orientation included

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• West Virginia State Radiologic Technologist license

Experience & Skills

• Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required

Additional Requirements

• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency (not by the facility)
• Driver’s license address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been off-site for at least 2 years
• Previous travelers must have been off-site for at least 2 years after completing a full year
• Only one submission allowed at a time across the system; travel teams must be submitted together
• Maximum of two candidates submitted per opening

Orientation & Scheduling Notes

• Department-specific orientation scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM on Fridays, weekends, holidays, and as required for call coverage
