Shift Details

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (10:30 AM to 11:00 PM)
• Weekend and on-call required: 2 standby calls or weekend shifts on a 6-week rotation, plus 2-3 weeknight standby calls

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• Diploma in Surgical Technology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, Plastics, Burns, and General Surgery

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Two supervisor/manager references within one year of start (one from current or most recent employer, second from second most recent employer). One reference from Charge RN acceptable.
• Current resume or application covering all cities and states lived/worked in for the past 7 years; gaps over 30 days must be explained.
• Background check including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender check, and education verification.
• Primary source verification of state license within 30 days prior to start; renewal plan required if license expires during contract.
• Photo ID (driver’s license or passport) copy front and back.
• Safety and Disaster Preparedness Quiz, Orientation Module and Instructions Quiz, and other facility-specific documents must be completed and signed prior to start.
• Harassment Prevention Training Certificate required.
• Fit mask test within one year of start (not required for Sterile Processing Techs).
• Drug testing within one year of start and updated annually (excluding marijuana/THC panel starting 1/1/24).
• Immunizations and titers required: Tdap, Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes; annual TB questionnaire if history of positive TB.
• Flu seasonal vaccination/documentation required for 2025-2026 flu season; no exemptions accepted after deadline.
• COVID vaccine or facility-specific declination form required.

• Uniform information and facility policies (e.g., social media, confidentiality, attendance, meal breaks, fingernail hygiene) must be reviewed and acknowledged prior to start.
• Timekeeping and conflict of interest forms must be signed before starting.
• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific education and safety requirements.
• Medical or religious exemptions for flu vaccine require signed facility-specific forms submitted by deadlines; otherwise, vaccination is mandatory.
