Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position: Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
- Shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Float: No floating between units
- On-call: Yes, 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks (call only)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Call-back time: 20 minutes, must remain within call-back area when on call
- Primary services include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics (C-section), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Ophthalmology
- Shift length: 8 hours, variable start times as above
- No 48-hour shifts approved
- Scrub color: Any color allowed
- Charting system: Epic
- Parking: No fee
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience in Charge roles
- NIHSS certification
