Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR).
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
- On-call coverage required for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time.
- May care for COVID-19 patients.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in specialty.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for Pennsylvania.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Schedule & Work Requirements
- On-call duties including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Floating to other units as needed.
- Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start; updated annually.
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse (Childline) Search required 3 business days prior to start; renewed every 5 years.
- Pennsylvania FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days. Fingerprints must be completed in Pennsylvania.
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year of start; must be finalized prior to start.
- Employment application and most recent resume required.
- Two professional references within 3 years required.
- Education verification of highest degree/diploma/transcripts required.
- Negative 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start (specific to agency requirements).
- Physical exam required within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT.
- Fit mask testing required within 1 year of start and updated annually; specific approved mask types mandated.
- Immunizations/vaccinations required with documentation including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start (PPD not accepted)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) or declination form
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
- Seasonal Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption or declination accepted
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing required within 48 hours of signed contract.
- Medication, pharmacology, and dysrhythmia/EKG competency exams required as applicable.

- Clear, passport-style photo for badge required.
