Physical Therapist - Home Care (Part-Time)

Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week


Job Overview

  • Provide in-home physical therapy services including admissions, treating existing patients, and recertifications (few Assisted Living patients).
  • Patient population primarily adults with multidisciplinary cases; about 78% are Medicare patients including elderly, rehab, CVA, inpatient surgical referrals (ortho, surgical, wounds; no lymphedema).
  • Caseload of 4-6 patients per day.
  • Work within a 50-mile radius east and west, up to 60 miles north (Sun Valley), and about 40 miles south to the Idaho/Nevada border.
  • Ability to start shift from home; no need to stop at an office.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays to discuss current admissions.
  • Use Epic EMR system with remote client access.
  • Business casual dress code; any color scrubs allowed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Idaho
  • Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience in a Home Health setting
  • Orthopedic experience

Additional Information

  • No weekend or holiday work required.
  • Orientation includes Epic training and shadowing with another therapist for up to 1 week.
  • No mileage reimbursement.
  • Limited oxygen requirements among patients.
  • No rehab aides (PTAs) available for home health.

  • First-time travel therapists are welcome; prior travel experience is not required.
