Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (start time may vary between 7:00-8:00 AM; end time between 3:30-4:30 PM)


Job Description

  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Provide quality images for radiologists and physicians to interpret.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technician license with current primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics within one year of start; updated every 3 years.
  • Documentation of education relevant to nuclear medicine work, verified within 90 days of start.
  • Successful completion of a skills checklist specific to the specialty within one year of start; updated annually.
  • Negative 12-panel drug screen completed within 30 days prior to start, including MRO review if applicable.
  • Criminal background check, EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check, and employment verification completed within required timeframes.
  • Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings:
    • Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted).
    • Two Varicella vaccines or serological evidence of immunity (no declinations accepted).
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
    • Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted).
    • Fit test for respiratory protection completed prior to start.
    • Health statement or physical exam completed prior to first assignment and updated annually.
    • Tuberculosis screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, chest X-ray within one year showing no infection, and annual TB questionnaire.
  • Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations or filters).
  • Valid driver’s license or state ID matching address requirements.

Additional Requirements

  • At least two professional references completed prior to first assignment.
  • Resume/profile submission required.
  • Confirmation of assignment documentation required upon initial assignment and each extension.
  • Legal documentation of name change if applicable.
  • Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
