Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Oncology Clinic
Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Clinic operates 7 days a week
- Typical schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) mentioned in description, but primary shift is 3x12 hours
Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse in Outpatient Oncology
- EPIC electronic health record experience is required
- BSN preferred
- Chemotherapy certification required
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient oncology nursing experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
