Description
X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology) - Travel/Contract
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Shift: Day Shift (5 days/week, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily in a Surgical and Clinical Orthopedics environment supporting general orthopedic imaging (X-ray) and specialized care for limb lengthening and bone deformity correction.
- Patient population includes outpatient, inpatient, community hospital, and children aged 1-8 years (preferred but not required).
- Experience with PACS and portable X-ray machines required.
- Must be comfortable and confident using C-arm equipment independently in surgical and clinical settings.
- Frequent long-leg imaging (hip to ankle) performed in clinics.
- Equipment used includes DR GE (rooms and portable), EOS, Standing Foot/Ankle CT scanner, and CRXx.
- No weekends or major holidays required.
- Flexibility to work at offsite locations as needed.
- First-time travelers accepted if experienced with C-arm portable use.
- Preferred skills: experience in OR, ER, and Level I Trauma settings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Maryland
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
