Description
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Lufkin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM), every other week
Hours: 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
Job Details
- Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 45 to 65 births per month (busier in summer)
- Team includes 5 OB physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Responsibilities include care for well babies, postpartum mothers, and labor & delivery patients
- No circulating C-sections required (OR staff handles this)
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license for Texas
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

- Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
