Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (18:45 - 07:15)
Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience preferred
Schedule Requirements:
- Every other weekend required
- Easter holiday required
- Contract options: 36 or 48-hour shifts acceptable
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, with CVICU experience within the last year
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
Additional Notes
- Must provide a current, unexpired driver’s license or state ID matching address on file
- Ascension-specific forms and checklists required for onboarding and ongoing compliance
- Optional: Unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leader within one week of start
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this assignment
