Description
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / Operating Room (ORT) - Travel Position
Location
- Lewiston, Maine
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Call Requirements: 3 weeknights and 1 weekend per month
- Float Required within OR and Supplies department
- Work setting: Level 2-3 Main Operating Room with 8 rooms, approximately 575 cases per month
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
Unit and Patient Population
- Trauma Level III facility
- Surgical specialties include cardiac, orthopedic, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, urology, plastics, robotics, podiatry, and endoscopy
- Inpatient and outpatient care in a community hospital setting
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA and/or NCCT Certification)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Vascular Technologist
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with Cerner Electronic Health Record system
