Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members.
- Must be willing to float to Thompson Unit and Kingsbury custodial patients as needed (higher patient ratio, lower acuity).
- Use Epic electronic medical record system.
- Dress code: Traveler must provide professional scrubs without logos.
- Own vehicle required for this assignment.
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
- Shift accommodation requests (e.g., block scheduling) will not be considered.
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and uploaded within 5 days of offer acceptance.
- Scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; no changes allowed after offer.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
