Registered Nurse - Radiology (Travel)

Location

Lone Tree, Colorado
South Denver area with easy access to mountains and outdoor activities
Nearby cities within 30-minute call response time: Highlands Ranch, Parker, Castle Rock

Job Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Unit Information

Department: Interventional Radiology
Hospital beds: 272
IR suites: 2
Staff: 6 RNs and 4 techs on day shift; night shift is on-call
Equipment: GE
EMR system: Meditech
Typical procedures: Basic IR lines, drains, neuro-related procedures, sirspheres, tumor ablation, spine jack
Call requirement: 8-12 shifts per month including weekdays, overnights, and weekends
On-call response time: within 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in neuro procedures
Experience in thrombectomy center

Work Schedule

Shift rotates between 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
