Job Details
- Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week (4x10 hour days, Monday-Thursday)
- Weekend, Holiday, and Call Requirements: Yes, includes weekend and holiday call coverage
- Scheduling: No self-scheduling except in special cases
- Department: Radiology - Nuclear Medicine
- Imaging/Studies Performed: Cardiac, HIDA, Gastric Emptying, Parathyroid, Thyroid, Thyroid Therapy, DAT
- Average Scans per Day: 6–10
- Equipment Used: GE and Siemens scanners; EPIC and Synapse/PACS software
- IV Start: Required
- Orientation: Department-specific orientation provided; clinicians must be in-state for orientation week (even if some modules are remote)
- Dress Code: Solid color scrubs only (no prints/graphics); scrubs are not provided
Required Qualifications
- Certification:
- BLS (AHA) Certification required
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist credential required (ARRT or NMTCB)
- Experience:
- Experience working in a high-paced Nuclear Medicine department
- Additional Requirements:
- Must submit a valid driver’s license
- Agency must provide traveler radiation badge
Additional Information
- No floating or coverage of other departments required
- Radiologist available in-house
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on staff
- Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager
- Work radius: within 60 miles of the facility
