Description
Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT - Pediatrics
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed
Setting: Pediatric care preferred; previous experience in a children's hospital preferred
Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services under general supervision for all appropriate pediatric age levels.
- Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Record treatment information and patient responses in electronic medical records.
- Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring.
- Serve as a resource to medical staff regarding respiratory care.
- Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned, maintained, and properly documented.
- Participate as a member of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma.
- Minimum of one (1) year of Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
- Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
